Padding is covered against defects in materials and workmanship for one year. Here is exactly what that covers, what it does not, and how to make a claim without a fight.

What we stand behind
For one year from delivery, padding supplied by Custom Pole Pads is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship. In practice that means the things we control: seams that fail, stitching that pulls, hook and loop that separates from the pad, foam that was cut or bonded incorrectly, and vinyl that fails in a way that is not attributable to use.
If something we built is wrong, we repair or replace it. We do not make you prove the negative first.
Not covered
Where the line sits
The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, abuse, vandalism, or normal wear from the job the pad is doing. It does not cover indoor-specified padding that has been installed outdoors, or outdoor padding damaged by something other than weather.
It also does not cover fading. Vinyl exposed to sunlight will shift in colour over time. Outdoor builds use vinyl treated to resist UV, which slows that down considerably, but no exposed material holds its original colour indefinitely and we would rather say so here than argue about it later.
Because custom printed padding is made to your approved artwork, it is not returnable for a change of mind. That is why nothing goes into production until you have signed off on a proof.
Making a claim
What to send us
- Your order number, or the organization name and rough order date.
- Photographs of the problem, plus one wider shot showing the pad in place.
- A sentence on when you first noticed it and how the pad is used.
