A club owner or general manager can sign off on padding the same week it is quoted. There is no bid threshold, no purchasing department, and no summer-only work window. That speed is the advantage private facilities have over school and municipal buyers, and it changes what you should ask a supplier for: not the lowest catalog number, but a quote built around the posts actually standing in your building and a ship date you can plan a tournament around.

Sponsor logos are inventory, so price them like inventory
A pole pad sits at eye level in every court photo, every parent's phone video, and every recruiting clip filmed in your facility. Clubs that already sell banner space know what a season of signage is worth. A pad face is the same kind of inventory with better sight lines, because the camera follows the ball toward the baseline where the posts are. Put it in the sponsorship deck as a named line item instead of carrying it as a facility expense.

Wear runs faster in a club than anywhere else
A high school gym runs a few hours a day for part of the year. A club floor runs from early morning training through late league play, seven days a week, with camps filling the summer gaps. Pads get leaned on, dragged past by ball carts, and wiped down far more often. The failure you actually see is rarely foam collapse. It is vinyl abrasion at hip height and closure fatigue where staff open and reclose the same pad for cleaning.
Two habits stretch pad life in that environment. Rotate: twice a year, pull the pad off your busiest post and swap it with one from a low-traffic column so wear spreads across the set instead of destroying one pad. Keeping two or five locations looking like one brand
Multi-site clubs hit the same wall every time: location two was padded by a different vendor in a slightly different blue, and now photos from your two buildings do not read as one company. The buildings themselves will not match, and that is fine. Club space is usually converted warehouse or retail, so post sizes vary between sites and sometimes within a single room. If a tournament date is driving the order, tell us the date when you call. If the sponsor artwork is not in hand yet, order stock pads now and add decals once the file arrives.
Can our own staff hang the pads between sessions?
Yes. Pads close with full-length hook and loop, so one staff member can wrap a post in a few minutes with no tools and no hardware. Most clubs pad one court during an off-peak block rather than closing the floor. Keep the spec sheet for each pad with your facility records so replacements go on the same posts they were sized for.
Our columns are all different sizes. Is that a problem?
It is normal and it does not complicate pricing as long as you measure. Club buildings are usually converted warehouses with mixed steel, so sizes often vary within a single room.
